What to bring

Drink

Beer kegThis is a beerfest so you can't really bring a Keg but many people have asked how they can help or contribute.

Normally these days parties are bring your own booze and food, hence terms like "chop and dop". In the case of a chop and dop you would normally bring a chop and your dop. Bringing a chop does not mean bringing a friend who acts like a fool and annoys everyone (i.e. Phil Horey or my sister's friend Lindy).

German food will be served and I am sponsoring the first 200 pints of Beer.

Here is how you can contribute.

Option #1 - Keg Fund

In option #1 You chip in R50.00 which is put into a kitty to buy more Kegs of beer. If you choose this option please let me know in advance so that I know how many kegs to order. Also if you choose this option the answer to the question - "what should we bring" is - A smile and a thirst.

JagermeisterOption #2 - Jagy Stock

If you don't want to contribute to the Keg fund, you can contribute to the party by bringing a bottle of Schnapps or Jagermeister that we will enjoy during the Beerfest.

Option #3 - The Couple

If you will be joining us as a couple then this is probably the best way to contribute to the party. He chips in R50.00 to the Keg Fund and she brings a bottle of Schnapps or Jagermeister.

Note: If you plan on being party-pooper and moving off the beer to spirits or wine you will need to bring that. It should also be noted that we will ONLY have beer mugs on the day so you will have to drink your poison in a beer mug.

Food

As Damien always says Eating is cheating so there will be no food on offer. Just kidding.

German style food will be served so you dont have to bring anything to eat unless you want to bring something extra like Biltong but it's not necessary.

If there is something in particular that you think would go down well please feel free to contact us and discuss it as we will welcome any contributions that will help to make the day better.

Digital Camera

If you have a Digital Camera and you don't mind taking some pictures for us then please bring it.

If you have a decent Camera phone then that will be fine too. We want lots of pictures taken so that we can put them on our "Gallery" page after the Beerfest.
